Charles P. Rogers Powercore Estate 5000 Firm Hybrid Mattress Review

Happy I bought it

On to the mattress itself. The build quality is great. Sitting on the side of it has a bit more squish than I am used to, but then again it has a large latex pillow top. Sleeping - stomach and back I would rate as being excellent. I still yearn for more softness when sleeping totally on my side as I feel it in my shoulder. at times. Sleep quality has been first rate. After sleeping on a decrepid Beautyrest World Class and tossing and turning all night this CPR has been a great change. I had forgotten that deep sleep existed. For what seems like years of not needing an alarm clock - I need one now. I am achieving a much deeper level of sleep with this mattress. My wife is happy on all fronts too and has no complaints. Some folks in Jersey grow tomatoes, I seem to grow lipomas like an old labrador retriever. They used to hurt like mad along my rib cage with the old mattress, but I have no pain on this one. My wife is prone to tight muscle knots in her back which have eased a bit. So if you have any sensitive pressure points - this is a bonus. So would I buy it again? Yes although I think if I was going sight unseen I would just buy the 5000, if the comfort level wasn't there for me then I would just add a soft latex topper. Perhaps if I talked more with CPR they could have customized the softness of the layers (I don't know) There is no way I could figure out that my shoulder would hurt a bit if I slept at a particular angle for hours in a store test. Still I have no real regrets as I am finally getting a good nights sleep. —Berad. Jersey Shore
