Exceeded My Expectations
I am allergic to petro based products so organic was a given. This is our first latex mattress and the reason I chose Sleep EZ is the option to interchange the layers for firmness. I wasn't sure which firmness to purchase so went with Rodger's suggestion as he said they are right 90% of the time and I'm glad we did take his suggestion. I have a six legged frame, so I had planned to use a thick plywood to lay the bed on. The day after I placed my bed order it dawned on me plywood has petro chemicals in it so I ordered the frames. Sleep EZ was so accommodating as to rush the frame order which we received the same time frame as the bed. The set up was a breeze. The first night I fell asleep and woke up smiling. It's like sleeping on a supportive cloud. When I wake up my joints don't hurt. Since we received bonus pillows I ordered one solid and one crushed we like them both. I've used this same mattress protector before. I paid $100 in the hopes it would alleviate my husbands' heat generation while he sleeps. I wouldn't say it's great for that nor worth $100. I prefer a thicker padded mattress protector, but since it came as a bonus item, I'll use it. Again, I spoke with a number of people at the company before placing my order. This is what I love about it
I ordered a split queen for multiple reasons: lighter weight of each layer, ability to customize, longevity of use. I like a firm mattress but I allowed myself to be talked into firm dunlop on the bottom, then medium dunlop, then soft talalay. It was way too soft. I then took the two medium dunlop layers and assembled firm, medium, medium. Too firm. The next try was firm, soft, medium on the top. That did the trick. Exactly the reason I ordered this mattress. I love the fact that I can change it as I like. I will say that it feels softer to sit on than I expected. But when I stretch out it feels firmer. And my hips no longer ache when I wake up. It's very easy to open, disassemble and reassemble. It came in boxes that I could handle myself although at 73 lbs each, they were heavy. (I'm a 65 yr old woman with arthritis.) No smells. The cover zips easily and the zipper works well. Overall I'm very pleased. I haven't tried the free pillows yet, I wanted to adjust to the mattress before I added another change. —Ann B

PROS One of my favorite things about the bed is that it’s built entirely of all-natural materials, which could make it a great fit for eco-friendly sleepers. It’s also got some fantastic bounce thanks to its latex construction. And finally, the Roma is going to sleep cool, so could be a solid pick for anyone who tends to overheat in the night. CONS Given its mediocre edge support and motion transfer results, I wouldn’t recommend this bed for couples. I’d also say that if you’re in need of deep body contouring, the Roma is not going to be the mattress for you.

The company hopes to provide a premium feel without the luxury strain on your wallet by selling online and eliminating the middleman.
