Wake up like a new me
I have now owned my temper flex elite for about 2 years and found that being a disabled veteran with back injuries it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever known ( I also own a Cloud lux, not as supportive ). I also owned the up base which helps control my acid reflux if not has completely eliminated the need for medications. I implore you to try the Flex line for its additional support and technology and don’t forget to get and adjustable base, it will truly help you get a better night’s sleep and get back the years that the turmoils of life have stolen from you! Not light size friendlyI was wondering what other people were saying about this mattress. I’ve been having trouble sleeping in my almost 4 year old Tempur Flex Elite. I’m waking up too many times at night and my shoulder blades hurt a lot. I always thought that this mattress was firmer than when we tried it at an Ashley’s. For about three years I slept ok but not truly satisfied. It’s almost funny that as I just finished paying the $4300 now I’m looking for a new mattress. I’m considering the serta icomfort mattress firm, and even looking into those purple mattresses. Luckily, there are a couple of stores not too far where they have both kinds and I’ve tried them. It’s just that I’m not ready to shell out that kind of money again. I wish I had done more research on the Tempur Flex Elite. I’m fairly small (120 lbs) and suffer from fibromyalgia and recently I’ve been having so many sleepless nights which only aggravate my pain. In the meantime I might just go with a gel memory foam from Amazon or Sam’s club. My sister got one for her King size, and it feels heavenly. I don’t recommend this mattress if you’re a lightweight.—Janet

Second one and even better than the first
We bought a king cloud back in 2009. It saved my husband who had suffered a stroke and had neurological pain. He was finally able to sleep! That bed is now in a guest room and everyone who has slept on it loves it. Two families wrote down all the info and they then also bought the bed. I just purchased a king cloud luxe and it's wonderful for my back and legs. This new model does not require cooling sheets and mattress pad. I have no more leg cramping in the night. May back doesn’t hurt anymore
This is my 2nd temperpedic. My original one was about 15 years old, and it was getting kind of hard. I have had back surgery so it was important to get a comfortable mattress. I hesitated for a year because it was so expensive. Finally, I bit the bullet and got a new one. I'm so glad. My back doesn't hurt and I wake up feeling refreshed. The sheets don't stay on. Love my mattress!
My husband and I purchased 2 Twin XL Cloud Lux and we both love our mattresses. He prefers a softer cooler mattress and I prefer a little firmer warmer mattress. This is the most amazing and comfortable matress I've ever slept on. I was concerned they may be too soft for me or too firm for him, but it forms so it's not too soft or firm for either of us. It's just amazing how it's just right for both of us with totally different mattress preferences. I've never slept on a matress that keeps me comfortable all night long. I always feel cold especially my feet and this matress keeps me nice and warm. He sleeps too warm and he stays nice and cool in his matress. He had terrible shoulder pain in our old mattress and is now pain free after sleeping in his Cloud Lux!! Most comfortable sleep all the way around for us both. We never want to get out of bed again! Lower back pain be gone
After struggling with recent lower back pain due to too much sitting while working and driving, it has been a relief to have a mattress that helps to alleviate pain. My dream bed
I had the original Tempurpedic king mattress for 20 years but after I purchased a new Tempurpedic for my son for his college graduation gift, I decided to get another one. Believe it or not but my 20 year old Tempurpedic was still doing very well as I have two other bedrooms with queen beds. However, I wanted a little softer top. The Contour Elite was very hard immediately after delivery but I noticed it getting softer as the weeks went by. I was told there is a break in period of 30 days. I was concerned at first but after two weeks, I really love it!!!!! I had a head on collision 30 years ago and I have suffered with neck problems most of my life until I started sleeping on my Tempurpedic. My hips and neck feel great! Twenty years ago, they only had one style mattress and that was it. With so many to choose from now, I was concerned that I would not choose the right firmness for me. I am so happy with my purchase! I love my forever bed
After suffering years of back pain every morning when I got out of bed, I decided enough was enough! I bought my Tempur-Contour Elite and my morning back pain vanished! I actually look forward to getting in bed now. It feels like sinking into a cloud while still getting the support I need. It's a touch cool when I first get in but quickly adjusts to a perfect temperature. Falling alseep is as easy as a relaxing sigh as my bed hugs me to sleep. I have no idea how it does it, but it holds the correct temperature all night. I always wake feeling refreshed from a wonderful nights sleep. Sleep like a baby!
I have had my Tempur-pedic for 30 days now and I've never slept better in my life. I slept on this exact mattress in Hawaii last year and I wanted to buy this mattress ever since. I have a bad back and need back surgery and even though we have a fairly new top of the line bed I couldn't sleep at night I tossed turned and couldn't get comfortable. But the new Tempur-pedic cal-king Rhapsody is nice and firm yet you sink in on your hard spots like elbows and knees and hips. So I saved up my money and I've never been happier in my life as I was with this purchase. We also bought the Ease 2 electric frames to go with our California king mattress. I bought my 1st tempurpedic bed in 2006. I have truly loved the brand & the mattress. I have raved about my queen-sized mattress for years! It has been the best purchase I made for my sleeping. My sons, dog & I totally agree ! Their has been many times that I have just stayed in my bed just because I felt so good from the mattress. I love coming home & watching tv in my bed. I've also put a glass of wine on the mattress to see how durable the mattress was & it worked out fine! This mattress has been often imitated but never really duplicated! New Mattress after 20+ years
We knew it was time to buy a new mattress when you wake up hurting, feel all the bumps and fall into the hole and cant get out from your old old mattress. We began by researching the difference between box springs and foam and hybrid. Then we tested out about a dozen mattresses by laying on them. Tempurpedic was not rated the highest in consumer reports but just like a movie critic you cant believe everything you read or hear until you experience it yourself. Our new mattress was very firm the first month and took some getting used to as it began to soften up and form to our bodies. But while this was all happening and normal we did not experience the pain of waking up anymore nor getting caught in the mattress. We purchased the adjustable bed also. Though we were not looking for adjustable we thought down the road that it would be a good investment and since we may never need another mattress again it is an investment for sure as the price was steep but you get what you pay for. Our third Tempur-Pedic in 25+ years!
We recently purchased our 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress set in 25+ years. I guess you could say we are "hooked". Our newest T-P mattress is the TEMPUR-Adapt, and may be the best yet. Extremely comfortable! The T-P mattress that the Adapt replaced is now being used in our guest bedroom, and our recent guests raved how comfortable their 3 nights on the 9 year old T-P mattress. Obviously, there remains very useful life for a 9 year old mattress. My wife and I expect and anticipate many comfortable, restful nights on our new TEMPUR-Adapt mattress set. Our only comment ("things we don't love") regarding the new TEMPUR-Adapt would be the "slickness" of the bottom surface of the mattress and the top surface of the box foundation. The "slickness" causes the bottom bed sheet to creep loose during the night requiring an almost remake of the bed. We are not restless sleepers, exactly the opposite (dead-zone sleepers). To date, we have found no acceptable solution to this annoying problem. It matters not what material the sheet sets are made of, we have tried several different fabrics with good cotton sheets being the least susceptible. Your thoughts, comments, and/or solutions will be greatly appreciated. All else being considered, we would likely never be without our Tempur-Pedic!—CupRacer, West Chester, PA

I had to replace my old mattress as I could never get comfortable and never slept well through the night. I went to many stores and tried out so many beds. This mattress was by far the most comfortable to me and my aches and pain. I have a bad neck, shoulders, back, and hips. I was worried to spend so much on a bed, but took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did. I sleep so well despite all my aches and pains because the mattress conforms to me. I definitely thought at first that it was not the right bed for me, but after a week, it seemed to break it and it's been perfect sense! Tempur + Coils=Best of Both!
This was an upgrade for me from my previous Tempur-Pedic Deluxe mattress that I had for over 12 years and I have to say that I LOVE the feel of the hybrid model and have never sleep better. This hybrid model combines the incredible comfort of the tempur material with just enough bounce from the coils that I feel fully supported. Great mattress!
My husband has a degenerative back problem which has prevented him from getting a good nights sleep. This mattress has helped him sleep so much better! I sleep better as well. We wake up rested and refreshed. I recommend this mattress to anyone that has trouble sleeping and/or back issues. Tye adjustable base is wonderful as well. Slept great from the very first night
This is our 2nd tempurpedic mattress. Our first one was the Celebrity bed/mattress and we had it for 12 years and loved it. With the Celebrity bed, we had to break-in the mattress the first month by walking on the mattress every night before bed. With the ProAdapt Medium mattress, there was no need for a "break-in" period. We slept well from the very first night. Love how much lighter this mattress is than our old mattress is, too. What a lucky to buy it!
I waited over four years to finally buy this mattress and I am so in love with it. I will admit the first few days were not good, it took a few days to get used to the feel and I tossed and turned a bit. But now after having it for three weeks my husband and I just love it and sleep so good. Everybody asks me if it's hot and NO it's not all. An absolute dream
Received a king size luxeAdapt for my master bedroom after owning an older tempurpedic model for the last 10 years. We've always loved our old mattress, but were itching to find out how much the technology has improved. The LuxeAdapt is miles beyond what we expected. Firm, without feeling like I'm sleeping on a slab, soft enough to hold our natrual curves but not so soft that you feel like you can't get out of bed without six-pack abs. We've now had it for a couple of months and I have to peel myself out of bed every morning. Conversely, if I'm feeling well-rested, I have the energy to spring right out without having to tenderly stretch out all my body parts and pray something didn't get strained in the middle of the night. After 15 years, we're on Tempurpedic mattress #2
Our old tried and true Tempurpedic mattress lasted over 15 years before it finally began to show our body indents. I was skeptical when we first got that mattress that it wouldn't make much difference in relieving my back pain as it usually would take my back a good 20 minutes to relax and stop hurting.
