My husband and I bought the top of the line king mattress and it is worth every penny! Not only in comfort but also in the buying experience. All mattresses are made right here in Maine and the sales staff were super informative and patient as we mattress hopped through the store.
Over the last 15 years I have replaced all of the mattresses in my house with Portland Mattress Makers mattresses. We have had the national brands, but the handmade mattresses from Portland Mattress are the best.

Hub has always been our first stop. The people there are genuine, and the furniture is of great quality, they also have an amazing layaway program.

Jon was excellent. We walked in and he greeted us with a smile and then quickly got down to business but we didn’t feel rushed. He helped us find a mattress that suited us when we weren’t exactly sure what we wanted in style. He went above and beyond.

The bed was so comfortable! I was out like a light and had a wonderful night of rest. The prices are good, the service was excellent.
The mattress is so comfortable. I don’t wake with the aches and pains I used to on a traditional mattress. Easy to care for and clean, just unzip cover and wash. No need to turn or flip the bed which is an added bonus. The cooling gel in the bed actually works, as I sleep hot! I loved it so much I purchased one for my teenage son. He loves his as well!

The delivery guys were very punctual, helpful, patient and apologetic. The terrible sales person gave us misinformation to make the sale, denied it and was rude, unapologetic and unwilling to admit his mistakes.
The worst decision that I could take was when I decide bought my bed there. I did not have a month to buy it when it sank. Instead of resting in my bed I wake up more tired.

Great prices, good quality and great selection. The staff is really personable, and they don’t stalk you like some store personal do. They give you time to look around and without pressure to buy.
Had an excellent experience with Todd today. He was super informative and polite. Nice greeting, not over bearing at all. Led me to a few things that I was interested in, then left me to my own and zero pressure.
